This luxury sail-cruiser is one of the largest and a new unique way to watch the Monaco Grand Prix by relaxing in the harbour as the F1 cars roar along the tarmac. Wind Surf recently underwent a major refurbishment. This ship is one of a pair and is part-cruise ship and part-yacht. The ship may look like it is from a by gone era, but that is where the similarity ends as the sails themselves are all electronically controlled form the bridge`s computer. You won’t be seeing it in the America`s Cup anytime soon or any shouts from the crow’s nest “there she blows”. The size of the ship is a site to behold with accommodation for over 300 guests in 154 staterooms, which comprise of 123 deluxe ocean-view staterooms and the crème de la crème of 31 ocean-view suites. On-board there are just over 200 staff including 10 massage therapists, technicians and instructors just to make sure the guests are as pampered as possible. Additional services for the guests to help them relax are traditional massage, aromatherapy, comprehensive hydro and synergistic therapy is available too, all provided just in case the Grand Prix is too tense to watch and you need to take a break and relax in style.
All the cabins are modern and tastefully decorated with private bathrooms that have hand-held and fixed showers for full body wash or just your hair. Other facilities include: Flat-screen TV, DVD, mini-bar/refrigerator, room service available all day and night and for your security a personal safe. These include a Casino, Compass Rosa Bar, Pool Bar, spacious lounge, salon, computers with Wi-Fi access (the old business centre), large flat-screen TV for group viewings.
