Monaco - Monte Carlo - the host of the biggest Formula One event of the year and still the one the drivers most want to win. Whilst staying in the Principality during the Grand Prix couldn't be described as a cheaper option, it is for sure the most spectacular way to immerse yourself in the F1 weekend. Your alarm call being the sound of car exhausts blasting past your bedroom window really is a unique experience.
The main reasons to stay in Monaco are to be IN the very heart of the action with the track literelly running through the streets. You can still get around though, the roads are open from 19:00 - 07:00 and there is still a lot to see and do in Monaco. One of our favourite restaurants has to be Café de Paris which is a hive of activity all the time, Café Sass is also excellent and the famous Tip Top (where many years ago the drivers all used to drink and have fun) is still good for casual dining. No matter what your budget you'll find fine-dining, casual dining and lots to see and do.
Our main Monaco property is The Fairmont Hotel, this property has just undergone a massive refurbishment programme and is now one of the most contemporary hotels in the South of France. Located ON the track right at the Loews Hairpin, the tunnel actually runs below rooms at this hotel. The most convenient way to enjoy the race is to stay at The Fairmont and view the Hairpin from one of our hospitality suites.
In addition to The Fairmont Hotel we offer the Meridien Beach Plaza Hotel which is located further from the track but is an ideal base if you wish to watch the GP from a yacht, the yacht tenders can pick you up directly from this hotel and get you to the main Monaco harbour in under 10 minutes.
The motor yacht measures 33m (108’ 3”) with a 7.7 m beam offering guests spacious interior rooms and exterior spaces usually found on much larger yachts. The yacht features an interior with neutral colours, with walnut panelling fitted with elegant furniture and expertly matched pastel coloured fabrics. The salon has a spacious sitting-room with plasma TV and BOSE Sound System plus a separate dining room.
The yacht can accommodate up to 11 guests overnight with the ability to have 40 guests onboard cruising. The cabins comprise of a full width master cabin located on the main deck forward with king size bed, sitting area, wardrobe and jacuzzi bathroom with shower plus a convertible sofa. The remaining cabins are located on the Lower deck and consist of queen bedded cabins with stall showers, and a twin bedded cabin with stall shower plus a 1 pullman bunk bed. There is a TV with SKY Decoder and stereo and air-conditioning in each cabin.
The yacht boasts spacious outdoor areas including a large aft deck with a table for 10-12 guests to dine al fresco and a spacious sunbathing area forward. The enormous upper deck is certainly another of the motor yachts strengths. There is space to lie on large sun pads or sit on the comfortable sofas in the shade of the bimini, perfect for dinner too. This area is ideal for corporate entertaining.
With a crew of 6 to pamper to your every need; Breakfast, all day Buffet, Gourmet Dinner and open Bar all day; your stay on board our luxury yacht is certain to create many wonderful memories!More Details
Many thanks Kenneth for an absolutely fantastic time over the Monaco weekend. You totally delivered! Short of giving us orange boiler suits and brooms, you couldn't have put us closer to the action or in a more perfect spot for qualifying and the race. And the Red Bull pit, Energy Centre and JBT yacht experience was a day like no other. So perfect was it all, that I started to wonder if you even controlled the weather.
Monaco GP. This magical event is held in the month of May each year and is so popular with F1 racing fans all over the world! The Monaco Grand Prix still remains one of the most exciting spectacles on the F1 calendar.
