The Village of Eze is located on the French Riviera not far from the City of Nice and it`s hilltop sea view is famous all over the world. The village is ideal for seeing the Grand Prix and having a certain amount of seclusion and peace and quiet as it is only (3.8 miles) from Monaco. The village and Light Ochre Church can be seen for miles, being that they are at the top of a magnificent cliff; known as the "eagle`s nest" to some.
The entrance to the village can be found via a rocky path that has some spectacular views of the Château de la Chèvre d`Or gardens. When you have reached your destination you will have a welcome view of a small Provencal village filled with charm and character and will have you feeling that you just don`t want to leave. Also the sea and coastline views will have your head spinning.
Eze retains all the charm of a medieval French village, however does benefit from all modern amenities including a number of excellent restaurants; The Golden Goat at Chevre D`Or is fantastic with a great view, however, our favourite has to be the amazing Michelin Star restaurant at the Chateau Eza - ask for a table with a balcony and enjoy not only sumptuous food, but also breath-taking views of the Mediterranean Sea.
Our hospitality for the Grand Prix at Café de Paris and Fairmont can be reached from Eze in around 20 minutes. We will collect you at the bottom of the village by coach each day and return you when the events are over. We have chosen only one property in Eze for its location, prestige and great rooms - Chateau Eza which is classed as a `Leading Hotel of the World` and has a 4-star rating will not let you down.
Many thanks Kenneth for an absolutely fantastic time over the Monaco weekend. You totally delivered! Short of giving us orange boiler suits and brooms, you couldn't have put us closer to the action or in a more perfect spot for qualifying and the race. And the Red Bull pit, Energy Centre and JBT yacht experience was a day like no other. So perfect was it all, that I started to wonder if you even controlled the weather.
Monaco GP. This magical event is held in the month of May each year and is so popular with F1 racing fans all over the world! The Monaco Grand Prix still remains one of the most exciting spectacles on the F1 calendar.
