A Guest's View of the Grand Prix in Monaco

A guests-eye-view of the Monaco Grand Prix from 2016, some amazing footage from our 3 different vantage points. The first day (practice) was from the Baron Trenck Yacht berthed in the harbour and there can be no better location in Monaco to see the Grand Prix. The yacht is about 45 metres long with 9 crew members and 5 cabins on-board. There are 3 levels to watch all the action race by and the sun was kind to us too, what a day. A giant screen is located nearby to keep updated with all that going on. There is VIP hospitality all day serving food and drink, with plenty of space to relax in.

On the Saturday it is qualifying from the Beau Rivage apartment on turn 1 where you get a bird’s eye view of much of the track.

Finally, it is race day and the heavens opened, well we can't control the weather. We were in the Caravell Apartment overlooking the start finish straight. The rain was pouring it down to watch the porches race by, then it was the turn of the Formula 2 to endure the weather. The rain had eased off for the drivers' parade, but then came back with a vengeance for when the race started which made things interesting for the drivers but was a lovely day for all involved with Lewis Hamilton taking the chequered flag, then off to the Meridien Hotel for the after party.

Going Strong for Over 17 Years Now

You can take in the lovely French city that is Nice on the French Riveria and have a lovely day relaxing on the beach with one of our packages and be transferred by helicopter to Monaco to enjoy the Grand Prix in style, how else would you to be taken there.

Our interviewer spoke to some of our guests to see how they are enjoying their trip and what made them come to Monaco this year and if it was living up to their dreams and expectations.

You can see the Fairmont Hairpin in the video which is one of the best-known corners in Formula One, which brings you so close to the cars and the drivers as they negotiate this tight part of the race (old name Loews). Then it was off to look around a luxury yacht in the harbour and chat to some of our guests, to see how much fun they are having and their experience of being on a luxury yacht, there was nobody who was disappointed.

The views from the Cafe De Paris are spectacular too, another one of the balconies we other to our guests and the weather was kind which is always a bonus. The eventual winner that year was Nico Rosberg with Lewis Hamilton coming in second, both being part of the Mercedes Team.
