Pics From Silverstone July 2022

Below are pics we took while at the British Grand Prix in 2022, they are from many different viewing areas that we provide, also some from the actual pitlane where you can get up close and personal and view all the Formula One cars testing their engines and running through dummy pitstops to make sure they are as quick as possible on race day! It was a great weekend for our guests and all the team at Grand Prix Adventures and we are looking forward to welcoming them back and new guests in 2023 and beyond!

Zhou Guanyu’s in his Alfa Romeo had a nasty crash which rolled over quite a few times, but thankfully the safety aspect of the halo saved him from any real injury and he was able to walk away to drive another day.

The British Grand Prix 2022

Well, what can we say about the race this year... This year’s British Grand Prix in 2022 gave us a lot of excitement, incidents, and fantastic crowd-pleasing driving.

The 142,000 spectators included the affluent and famous, and what a beautiful display it was: a first-time winner, collisions (without injuries), and some amazing overtaking manoeuvres it was a race that brought about a lot of joy for some and disappointment for others. And the rain abated. At his 150th attempt, Carlos Sainz Jr. today won his first Formula One Grand Prix.

Sainz started on pole (also a first in his Formula One career), but the lead changed several times throughout the race until the Spaniard eventually claimed victory.
