Before setting sail for Santa Margherita, Italy, enjoy the city of Nice and all its spendours, called the Queen of the Riveria. The city is filled with a treasure trove of archaeological and fine art museums, the famous flower market, and a warren of meandering lanes edged by tall houses and small, alluring shops.

Santa Margherita is a seaside resort and has a harbour catering to a fishing fleet that can be seem unloading its catch opposite the morning market, but it’s also a take off point for trips to Cinque Terre.

Then its off to Livorno in Italy, where there is a wealth of Italian riches. This serves as the entrance to Florence's beautiful palaces, cathedrals, museums, and leaning tower of Pisa, among other attractions.

Next it is Rome. Whether it’s tossing a coin in a fabled fountain or being awestruck by the magnificence of St. Peter’s Basilica and Michelangelo’s masterpieces, Rome seems to live up to its sobriquet, the Eternal City.

Ajaccio is the next stop in Corsica. The seaside capital of Ajaccio is best known as the birthplace of Napolean Bonaparte, yet there's a lot more to this charming city like scenic mountains, beautiful beaches, and countless cafes and shops.

Provence is a lovely place to stop next. Where you can head to avenue Amiral Vence and board the cable car that will take you over 2,000 feet up to the top of Mont Faron. Don't forget to see the Church of Santa Maria, which is home to a renowned organ with four keyboards and more than 3,000 pipes. Both plazas are huge and lined with restaurants and cafés.

Next set sail to Saint-Tropez, where you may relax in the sun on some of the most well-known beaches in the world that the affluent and famous frequent. During your stay, you may visit nearby vineyards to sample the area's top wines, take in the harbour's opulent yachts, and go shopping for designer items and regional specialties.

Villfranche is the next destination. Journey to the exclusive heart of the COTE D’AZUR. Though its name may not be familiar, there’s a good chance you’ll recognise much of Villefranche while walking its beachfront and twisting, cobblestone streets. That’s because it’s been a cinematic hot spot for years, and movies such as To Catch a Thief, An Affair to Remember, and Never Say Never Again have all been shot here. Nearby this location the renowned Monaco Grand Prix race is on and is not to be missed.

Your final location - a night in stunning Barcelona - to take it all in and reflect on what a wonderful and exciting trip it has all been.
